Can I be sure my cake will be delivered on time?
Absolutely. There is no recreating the experience of receiving a cake on the actual day of one's birthday, and we are committed to fulfilling this pledge to our customers. For your own peace of mind, we also provide direct access to the shipment process through our Cake Tracker so you can see precisely when your order is received. Please be advised that orders must be fully entered by 3pm Eastern for the cake to arrive next day.
What if my gift arrives late?
On-time delivery is of utmost importance to us and our delivery service provider Fed Ex. If you experience complications with the delivery of your order you may be eligible a refund on your shipping amount or the total order amount if the cake is damaged. Please notify us by clicking
here and sending your name, contact information and order number. A Bake Me A Wish! representative will contact you shortly thereafter to resolve the matter.
Please be advised that we must receive notification no later than 14 days after the package is received in order to process a reship or refund.
How does the cake stay fresh?
We spent the better part of a year testing various methods for delivery, consulting with some of the most experienced packaging engineers. Our system is tried and true, utilizing various components such as air packs and ice gels to keep your gift secure and fresh.
What kind of ingredients do you use?
We use only the finest ingredients with — yes — creamy frostings, German chocolate, cane sugars, sweet butter and all the other great things that make cakes delicious and indulgent.
Can I add a personalized message?
In many respects, your thought and message is the gift and our cake is the icing on the... well, you get the idea. As part of the checkout process simply select an occasion and the appropriate greeting card will be registered, then fill your text. Remember, this is a gift, so your recipient will not know who has sent the cake unless you fill in the card!
If no one is home at the time of delivery will my gift cake be left at the front door?
The answer to this question is both Yes & No - Yes, if to a house or deemed "safe to leave" by the Fed Ex driver, however that is at the Fed Ex driver's discretion. No, if an office or an apartment where public display and accessibility is apparent. This is for both safety and security reasons. A Fed Ex door notice will be left to communicate that a package delivery has been attempted.
Are the cakes kosher?
Yes, all our cakes are Chof-K certified.
I have two discount codes; can I combine these offers?
No. Bake Me A Wish!'s discount policy does not allow two or more discounts to be combined. You will receive the higher of the two discounts.
